How do you get the windows and doors up to my floor?

This depends on the building height, elevator size, stairwell size, what floor you reside on, and your buildings rules and regulations. We will work with your building’s management team to determine if your products can be delivered through a service elevator, carried upstairs, or if we will need equipment like a crane or swing stage.

I am a seasonal resident, can I schedule my install for when I am in town?

Our project coordination team will always work with you to best fit your schedule, whether we need to accommodate seasonal residency or doctor appointments.

My balcony is getting concrete restoration done, when should I have my doors installed?

Your new impact windows and doors should be installed after concrete restoration is completed. Installing prior to this work can require uninstalling and reinstalling your new products. If not done properly, this can cause damage to your new windows and doors. If your building is considering or planning this type of work, be sure to let our team know right away so we can plan accordingly.

Why does my glass need to be so dark?

For those who live in oceanfront condos, it is very likely that we are required to comply with Turtle Code Ordinances. These laws state that any window or door with glass facing the ocean must filter a certain amount of interior light. The light confuses sea turtle hatchlings and can endanger them.

Why does my impact sliding glass door need a tall threshold?

In high-rise condos, it is important that the sliding glass doors are as strong and water-tight as possible. Because of the height and proximity to the ocean, buildings over 6 stories typically require taller thresholds to meet the required water and design pressure ratings per Florida Building Code.
